At least eight ministers, who are expected to pursue their goals to become governors, will soon be relieved of their jobs, THISDAY learnt Thursday. The eight ministers to be affected by the exercise, which a presidency source said might start this month, are from seven states, with Benue State accounting for two of the ministers. The source said the decision to sack the ministers with governorship aspirations is partly responsible for the delay in filling the vacant ministerial positions that have been open since nine ministers were sacked in September. Dont these people ever tire of vying for political posts like its their birth right. Why cant they just retire?
